After many years of research and development, Fitly Inc. announced the November 2020 launch of SmartPlate: a food tracking device and app that achieves 99% nutrition accuracy by relying on highly precise scales, artificial intelligence, and the latest food recognition technology.
We’ve ALL been there: another app, another diet, another trend that promises to help you lose weight and keep it off for good this time!
But then what happens a week, a month, or a few months later? We find ourselves right back where we started, looking for another strategy to achieve our health and fitness goals.

We launched our campaign on Kickstarter! And we succesfully brought SmartPlate® to life with the help of 576 backers that pledged a total of $110,872!
2016 - EARLY
Following after the success of our campaign on Kickstarter, we went on to produce our very first working prototype!
2016 - MID
We went on Shark Tank and demonstrated our product to the sharks! We had great feedback from them but none of them took a bite!
2018 - EARLY
A lot of research & development was done with SmartPlate®. After numerous months of design and trials, we released our first version (V-1) to the market for testing.
2019 - EARLY
We successfully stored over 1,000 U.S food items in our database! And it's ever growing! SmartPlate® users can now easily scan almost any food item on their plate!
